Glenview is a small neighborhood with big charm. Located along Park Blvd. above 580, the neighborhood is well served by AC Transit Transbay bus system and casual carpool to SF. The small, quaint shopping district on Park is easily walkable from most of the neighborhood. Craftsman’s are the dominant home style and the gentle hills and well kept streets provide for great outlooks. Dimond Park, with its creek, walking trails, tennis courts, pool and playgrounds serves as a neighborhood hub. At the top of the mountain, the neighborhood is bordered by several giant East Bay Regional Parks, including Sibley, Redwood and Huckleberry, that provide access to hundreds of miles of walking and mountain biking trails. There are many hillside lots in Montclair that can provide views from Mount Tam all the way to the south bay. There are also lovely wooded canyons, creeks and varied terrain with a wide variety of housing, including large contemporary homes, mid-century marvels, mediterranean stunners, and quaint cottages.
